Enjoying the last sunrays

Even though summer said goodbye to us a month ago, the Majorcan thermometer does not give up.

The 23 degrees during the day allow us to continue enjoying the sun, warm temperatures and leisure activities in nature.

This is why we at Monport would like to propose plans that will allow you to enjoy the last (if they really are the last) rays of sunshine in Mallorca. So, go outside as long as the weather permits.

Strolling in the port of Andratx: Before the humidity and rain prevent us from doing so, we still have time to enjoy the sea and its charms. The port of Andratx is a quiet and well-maintained fishing port with a relaxed and elegant atmosphere, small restaurants and an interesting day and night life. Although it is actually a good plan all year round, the port gains in charm thanks to the autumnal light of these months.

Sunsets: Even before the time change and before night falls, take the opportunity to enjoy one of the wonderful sunsets that this autumn gives us. The orange, red and blue sky can leave us speechless. Sunsets that surprise us at the wheel, on foot and, for the lucky ones, with a view of the sea.

Sunrise on the beach: If you are one of those who have no problem getting up early, we recommend you to enjoy a sunrise directly on the beach. Choose the one you like best, prepare a bag with the essentials (a blanket, a towel, something to eat and drink) and you will enjoy paradise all to yourselves. As the day passes, the cold of dawn will give way to the perfect temperature for one of the last baths of the year. Mallorca, the island that is able to offer more than one season in one morning.

Enjoy the terraces: The truth is that Mallorca is a place where the terraces are full of life all year round. The 300 days of sunshine a year allow us to make good use of them. However, autumn is one of the best seasons for terrace lovers. In contrast to the oppressive heat of summer and the humid cold of winter, the mild temperatures allow us to sit on a terrace at any time of day: for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Discover the whole island: Don't miss a corner, get lost in its villages, streets and valleys. Take the opportunity to discover the Tramuntana, the coast and the city. Sun, peace and tranquillity allow you to discover the true charm of the island.

Mallorca is always a good idea.

This is a lovely, relaxing hotel with great facilities and within walking distance of the Port with its bars and restaurants. The pool and pool bar are clean and tidy and all of the hotel staff are friendly and will assist with any requests.
