Activities to do in autumn in Palma
Since the worldly noise has already turned into music, the autumn asks to return to the city, which has in the summer months the ability to transform itself. In September comes the (sometimes expected) normality. Autumn may be our favourite season to enjoy Palma (we warn you, we don't rule out starting with the arrival of spring, we are not able to choose). The city is full of local people and visitors who flee from the masses to meet the reality that gives the return to routine.
One of the best things about discovering a city is to be able to live it as the natives live it. Discover the day to day, its rhythm and its heartbeat. And autumn is the ideal month for that.
From MON PORT we give you four ideas to live the autumn in Palma like a real palmesano:
Visit the terraces of La Seu
Hurry up, you are still in time to enjoy one of the most wonderful views of the city from one of the most wonderful cathedrals in the world.
Until the 31st of October you will have the opportunity to climb the 215 steps that separate you from the glory, the highest part of the temple, where Palma can be seen from a bird's eye view.
This is a visit in which you will be able to discover some of the most curious and unknown corners of the Cathedral, such as the bell tower and the terraces of the buttresses. In addition, enjoy the panoramic view of the whole of Palma from a new and impressive perspective and the jewel of the crown: the “Rosetón Mayor” at your fingertips.

A last splash on a semi-empty beach
Lastely, the cold has not made its appearance until well into the month of November.
How would you like to take advantage of the autumn sun to take a swim on a paradisiacal and, most importantly, practically empty beach?
This plan has only one contraindication: you will be so comfortable and will enjoy the beach and the bath so much that you will want to go back in time and return to summer.
Don't worry, everything happens and June 2020 is just around the corner.
Night of the Art (Nit de l'art): Visit museums
Transmit culture to everyone, without distinction of race or category.
Culture is the key that opens the door to happiness.
From MON PORT we encourage you to discover the streets during one of the most special nights of the city: La Nit de l'Art.
The museums open their doors to the whole world, decorated with their best clothes and wearing their best works, receive a multitude of people with a desire for art and culture.
We recommend you to look at all the galleries that participate and make a tour in which you can include as many galleries as possible:

We warned, the easy to get out on the street but it's not so easy to get back.
See the 8 of the cathedral on 11th of november
When autumn is already in its last stages and we are about to enter the coldest season of the year, you will be able to enjoy one of the most wonderful shows in the city: the eight of La Seu.
Every 11th November at around 8 a.m., the sun comes in through the largest Rosette of Palma Cathedral and inside it forms an impressive 8 of colour, sun, light and magic.
There is no visitor who does not fall in love with such a spectacle.
We promise you that getting up early will be rewarded.
