Camp de Mar, one of the most beautiful beaches in Mallorca

In Mallorca, choosing just one beach is quite a complicated task. The beaches are very diverse and they exist for all tastes, demands and needs. In Mallorca there are fine sandy beaches, rocky beaches, secluded beaches, easily accessible beaches and those that face north, south, east or west. Beaches that, without exception, look like a little piece of paradise on earth.

Among them all, there is one that keeps appearing on lists of Mallorca's most beautiful beaches: Camp de mar.

Located in the municipality of Andratx, Camp de Mar is one of the favourite beaches for those looking for a little bit of everything: A beach that combines the beauty of an unspoilt area with the comforts of an easily accessible beach.

A 180-metre stretch of white sand, turquoise waters and a natural islet, S'Illeta, connected by a wooden bridge to the restaurant of the same name. There you can eat above the sea, so to speak.

Camp de Mar has many other attractions besides its beautiful beach and one of the most popular restaurants in the area, making it one of the best beaches in Mallorca.

Platja de Ses Dones

Again crystal clear waters and only a few metres separate Camp de Mar from Platja de Ses Dones. A concrete jetty overlooking the sea, where tranquillity, silence and the sound of the sea against the rocks reign. The ideal alternative for those who prefer seclusion.

Port d'Andratx

Just 10 minutes from Camp de Mar is the famous and always lively Port d'Andratx. As well as the great selection of restaurants and shops, there is also a famous street market here, open Monday to Friday from 7pm to midnight. Ideal for strolling, shopping or dining on summer evenings.

Golf courses

If you like both golf and the sea, this is the place for you.

The Andratx golf course is located in Camp de Mar. With its 18 holes, four par 5 holes and seven lakes, it is architecturally and technically one of the most outstanding and demanding courses in the Mediterranean.

As you can see, the choice of Camp de Mar as one of our favourite beaches is not just because of the colour of the water or the beauty of the surroundings, but because Camp de Mar combines some of the things we value most on the island.

This is a lovely, relaxing hotel with great facilities and within walking distance of the Port with its bars and restaurants. The pool and pool bar are clean and tidy and all of the hotel staff are friendly and will assist with any requests.
