The sailing club of puerto de andratx

Puerto de Andratx is one of the most privileged enclaves in Mallorca. Located at the southwestern end of the Sierra de Tramontana and partially surrounded by Freu de la Dragonera, it is one of the most popular areas to visit in the summer.

The Club offers classes in dinghy sailing, kayaking, paddle surfing, swimming, and sailing courses adapted for children with disabilities who have never had contact with sailing or this sport before.

The marina offers services such as mooring rentals - it has 500 units, 100 of which are for transients - a gas station, showers, laundry, and many others. It also has a cafeteria and a highly regarded restaurant that embodies the gastronomic culture of the island, as well as a swimming pool.

The Sailing Club's commitment to respecting and protecting the environment is particularly noteworthy. Members, clients, and users are highly valued, and their satisfaction is paramount, but the focus on quality management and the environment is never forgotten. In this regard, the Club strictly follows the ISO 14001, ISO 9001 standards, and Regulation 1221/2009 EMAS.

The surroundings of Puerto de Andratx have always been admired as one of the best and most spectacular in the Mediterranean. In 1968, a group of people decided to add an extra touch and transform it into a place where sports and social activities could take place.

Thus, the small, old fishing refuge began to evolve into the cosmopolitan place it is today, one of the most important and visited tourist and residential centers in Mallorca, with an enviable range of hotels and gastronomy.

Visitors to Puerto de Andratx and those who enjoy its Sailing Club should know that they are very close to the Dragonera Natural Reserve, which can be visited in groups of up to ten people; the El Toro and Las Malgrats Marine Reserves, located in the Santa Ponça area, where you can request authorization for diving; or the Cabrera National Maritime and Land Park, where you can rent a buoy, subject to prior online application on the Govern de les Illes Balears website.
