The most beautiful Christmas markets in Mallorca
Roasted chestnuts, background music and workshops for children make the Christmas spirit come to life in Mallorca. It is the time to enjoy and celebrate traditions with family and friends, and luckily there are endless options to do so. The island offers a great variety of markets during the festive season spread over small towns and also large localities, where you can count with live performances, activities for the youngest members of the family and typical Christmas dishes.

Pueblo Español
Possibly the most famous of the whole island, and the most spectacular of the Balearic Islands. Held in an authentic architectural space, this magical open-air market has been held over the last few years with great success. With more than 80 clothes and accessories stalls, Christmas decoration, local products as well as typical dishes such as "Gulasch", mulled wine and caramelized peanuts, you will be able to feel the Christmas spirit at all times among the most famous monuments and buildings in Spain. You will be able to visit the market from 5 to 9 December and it will have an easy access free car park, ideal if you are travelling with children.
Puerto Portals
From 20th December to 6th January you can enjoy dozens of stalls in the southwest of the island, in Mallorca's most elegant port. With a wide gastronomic offer with German specialities such as "Lebkuchen" or "Kartoffelpuffer", children's activities where children can participate in workshops, storytelling and "facepainting", there is no doubt that the whole family will have a great time. There will also be handmade items, accessories and home decor. The large ice skating rink will also stand out during these days, the perfect occasion to take the children and spend a day with the family.
In the heart of Palma
The Christmas lights and the wooden cabins distributed between Plaza España, Plaza Major and La Rambla, together with the smell of waffles and freshly made sweets, are brightening up the Christmas festivities in the island's capital. With handmade products, "churrerías", souvenirs and music, you will be able to find everything you need for these festivities. You can visit it from the 2nd of December to the 7th of January and you can find it all over Palma, ideal for strolling and doing some shopping for Christmas and the Three Kings. Just in front of Plaza España you can enjoy an ice rink, where you can cross over 420m2 in skates. Very recommendable!
Alaró
You could say it's a Christmas market with a Mallorcan touch. During 2 days, from 18 to 19 December, you can visit this romantic village in the Tramuntana mountain range and enjoy a different and unique Christmas. Multicultural in style, you'll find all kinds of quality, designer products made by local artists and craftsmen - the perfect place to buy a Christmas present. There will also be live music performances, which will brighten up the entire village square with a good atmosphere.
