Massages and relaxation at Monport Spa

Not all massages are the same, and not everyone likes or needs to receive the same type of massage. Whether for wellness or therapeutic purposes, at Monport Spa, we offer a wide range of possibilities.

-Relaxing massages, where professionals use gentle and gliding movements. Hands move more slowly and apply less pressure than in other types of treatments. The focus is relaxation and making the person feel good. It is the alternative we usually recommend for those who have never had a massage or for those who are stressed and need to calm down.

-Deep tissue massages are recommended for people with accumulated muscle tension, whether they are athletes or individuals with chronic pain. These discomforts typically stem from severe physical activity, chronic injuries, continuous stress, or repeated poor posture, among others.

-Hot stone massages have their origins in China. At Monport Spa, we use them to help relax muscles, relieve pain, and achieve proper energy balance. All this is achieved thanks to the heat gradually released by the stones.

-Stimulating massages, on the other hand, aim to activate and concentrate energy before physical and mental activity. They are perfect before visiting one of the nearby golf courses or enjoying the cycling routes in Andratx.

Our thermal circuit

Water is our ally, and the pressure and temperature at which we use it, even more so. In Monport Spa's thermal circuit, the benefits observed benefit all levels: psychological, physical, or aesthetic because this treatment activates the lymphatic and circulatory systems, balances the immune system, and helps activate metabolism. It also has detoxifying effects on the body and relaxes muscles and joints.

Normally, the circuit lasts between one and one and a half hours and combines steps through zones of different temperature and pressure to activate all its beneficial effects.
